OUR VOLUNTEERS
Do you enjoy reading? Would you like to help make the Salem Library a pleasure for all? We are looking for volunteer help during library hours in several different areas. You don't need library experience, just a willingness to learn, be reliable, and to have an interest in helping others. Areas of service are below:

Reading Shelves: making sure that the books are in order on each shelf and reshelving books that are out of order. |
Book Repair: an ongoing process! You will learn how to recover torn book jackets and cover paperback books so they will last longer. Also includes repairing and replacing book spine labels. |
Reshelving: placing returned books, audio-visual materials, magazines, newspapers, etc. correctly back on the shelves. |
